Re: Salvation...Your will or GodsReply

Like Paul, “I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom 8:38-39, NASU). Even in my old age, “I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day” (2 Tim 1:12, NASU).

Look, Calvinist and Arminianist have batted this question around for decades only to end up being derided by with sayings like: TULIP is the flower of Calvinist and that the Daisy is the flower of the freewill proponents – “He loves me, He loves me not.”

I am with the wonderful professor from Southwestern, Curtis Vaughan, who said, that we go to heaven he believed that we will see, “Whosoever will, come (Mk. 8:35)” written on the gates of heaven then, once enter, we will look back and read, “Chosen from the foundation of the world” (Eph. 1:4).
