Re: Salvation...Your will or GodsReply

Good points. I would like respond to your following statement;

However, we also see in scripture that we cannot go unless called to, so therefore in darkness we have no will to go to the light unless drawn. Romans 8:30, 2Thessalonians 2:13-14, John 15:16, John 10:29, John 6:37, Matthew 22:14, John 6:44-65 . In answer to your last point, it would appear that free will was first given, then lost, so for the totality of mans free will to be regained one must be saved. (end)

In Mathew chapter 22, the parible of the weding feast seams add some doubt as to weather a man loses his free will as follows;

M't:22:2: The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, M't:22:3: And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

So he sent for more guest

M't:22:9: Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

One appears without the correct clothing (as custom the King would have provided for the guest)

M't:22:12: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

The King cast him out

M't:22:13: Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

M't:22:14: For many are called, but few are chosen.

Many are called to the wedding-feast, that is, to salvation and a life with Christ, but few have the wedding-garment, or the righteousness of Christ, because they choose to live for themselves and the world.

This leads me to believe again that a person, even when called to Christ, still has to choose through his own free will to be obedient. This does not however address the question of "can someone lose salvation after accepting it".
